I wish more friends went on dA so they could see it too. I would have done it on facebook, but it didn't seem quite right. In the midst of my insomnia, I have though of a physical manifestation of this beast that keeps me up, as seen below.

This creature is difficult to describe, as it appears different to each person depending on what they're feeling at the moment it comes. It can take the form of something beautiful or hideous. It is difficult to tell what it is, as it never truly has one fixed form. It's color can very, from a deep, royal blue, to the darkest of blacks, to the most mysterious purple. Generally always a cooler color. It preys on people in a very clever way they may nt realize. It keeps them from falling asleep, sucking the energy and strength out of them, leaving them tired and not themselves. While usually harmless, they sometimes go overboard and suck so much energy that the victim (often referred to as the Insomniac) goes completely mad, beyond the point of help. Symptoms of people being preyed on by Insomnia creatures are irritableness, personality change, always seems tired or uninterested, seems to be lacking in energy, and droopy, baggy eyes.

So hat's the physical manifestation of my current problem. This creature is similar to/partly inspired by the Greek god Morpheus, god of sleep/dreams. Thank you all for reading!
